How to lose weight at christmas time


Christmas time is a time for giving and receiving and also a time for eating and drinking, alot. Many people find it impossible to remain the same weight never mind lose weight at christmas time. So how can you lose weight and stay slim and thin at christmas, well luckily there are few things you can do.

Firstly do not overbuy sweetstuff, like shortbread, mallows, snowballs, roses, quality street,ferrero roche,etc. The list is never ending, but you should eat these foods in moderation. When you are slumped in front of the christmas television shows instead of filling up on these sweetstuffs why not get out your exercise bike and cycle as you watch. So not only are you enjoying the television you are also burning off some calories at the same time. Try and limit snacking between meals fullstop.

As for alcohol consumption, do not overindulge. You can also buy the lower calorie version of drinks, and add diet mixers instead of full drinks loaded with calories to spirits. If you want to indulge in alcohol stick to wine as it has less calories than beer and cocktails. This is the only option if you wish to lose weight at christmas.

Walk to the shops and do your christmas shopping rather than driving. All the walking and carrying shopping bags will help you tone up saggy skin as well as help you lose weight. After your christmas dinner how about going for a brisk walk with your loved one to help shed those extra pounds you have put on over the festive period.

If you think about it it is very easy to lose weight at christmas time, you just need a little motivation and forward planning.
